About Us

The most beautiful things come from love. We met during a difficult time - amid the war in Valeriia’s home country. Despite the challenges. Our love and support for each other grew, inspiring uns to stay in Croatia and build a life together. Sea of Cups celebrates love, happiness, and life’s beauty, drawing inspiration from the Istrian coast, our adventures, and our bond. Valeriia’s creativity shines through in her unique, nature-inspired designs. Each piece reflects her love for art and the beauty of imperfection.

Our ceramics are mostly one-of-a-kind, handmade with premium Italian and German materials. From cups and bowls to decorative pieces, each item combines quality and artistic charm. We’re also proud to showcase artwork by talented friends from Croatia and Ukraine, sharing their creativity alongside our ceramics. Each piece tells a story of craftsmanship and love.

  • Ich war mit 2 Freunden in diesem netten, kleinen Atelier und kann nur Positives berichten. Einerseits haben wir einen guten Einblick in die Grundlagen des Töpferns erlangt und andererseits haben wir uns extrem gut mit den zwei Besitzern, Valeria und David unterhalten können, beides sehr freundliche Menschen :) Valeria hat uns ein gutes Verständnis übers Töpferns gegeben und uns gut die einzelnen Schritte erklärt. Ich empfehl diesem Workshop jedem, der in einem ruhigem Umfeld Neues erlernen möchte und dabei noch eine handgemachte Tasse erschaffen will. Ein großes Danke von Amina, Raissa und Anika aus Österreich :D

  • Ich habe bei Valeria einen Workshop besucht und bin begeistert, wie viel Spaß es gemacht hat. Valeria hat mir jeden Schritt genau erklärt und gemeinsam haben wir es geschafft, in den 1.5 Stunden zwei Tassen zu machen und diese zu bemalen. In dem kleinen Laden gibt es wundervolle selbstgemachte Keramik und selbst illustrierte Karten und Bilder. Perfekte Souvenirs für zu Hause, denn ansonsten gibt es in Pula wenig handwerkliche Kunst zu erwerben, die authentisch ist. Vielen Dank nochmal an Valeria für den Workshop und ich freue mich auf das fertige Ergebnis! :)

  • Bij toeval kwamen we dit keramiek winkeltje tegen. Via het mailadres op de deur hebben we last-mimute een workhop bij Valeria kunnen boeken voor 2 personen. Was een hele leuke activiteit om zo te doen, van kleien van de cup tot beschilderen. Super leuk om een tijd later dit eigen gemaakte theekop te ontvangen, beste souvenir. En ook gewoon hele mooie fijne mok!
